To be able to use the Pennine Events Online Entry system we have to ask for and store some basic personal information about you. By using our online system to enter any event you consent to the collection and use of this data in the manner described.
We comply with and are registered under the Data Protection laws in the United Kingdom. We take all reasonable care to prevent any unauthorised access to and use of your personal data.
Data we Collect
When you use the Pennine Events Online Entry system you will be asked for your name, sex, address, date of birth, email address, telephone number and other information as specific to processing your entry for the specific event (for example, t-shirt size). You will also be asked to provide the same information for any team-mates you are entering.
The details you provide will be stored on a computer with on off-site back-up. These details are necessary to enable us to produce the necessary event lists, provide you with the appropriate event items, send you event information, contact you or your next of kin should you be unaccounted for after the event or an incident occurs.
If you choose to pay by credit/debit card we will also ask you for your credit/debit card details. These are only held by WorldPay (on behalf of Santander Bank) not by Pennine Events Ltd.
All event entry information will be retained by Pennine Events for a period of not less than one year from the transaction date. It will remain available during that period and supplied to the customer on request.
Other Use of Data
We may contact you by post, e-mail or telephone to ask you for your feedback and comments on our services. In addition we may use the information as a service to our customers through sending you information on other Pennine Events events, services or goods as they arise, unless you have signified to us that you do not wish us to contact you with this information.
Your name, age category, gender and club/team name will appear on the public list of participants for each event you enter using the Pennine Events Online Entry System. We do not provide this information to any other commercial or non-commercial organizations, unless so as to comply with sporting governing body event permit or registration policies.

If any of the information that you have provided to us changes, for example if you change your e-mail or postal address, name or telephone number, please let us know the correct details by sending an e-mail to email@example.com or by sending a letter to Pennine Events Ltd, Suite 1a, Ribble House, Meanygate, Bamber Bridge, Preston, PR5 6UP .
