Our Charity Partners
Driven By Purpose
We are immensely proud to celebrate the 29th year of the LCL Bike Ride with our new headline charity partner NSPCC.
Founded in Liverpool over 135 years ago, the NSPCC works tirelessly to protect children and prevent abuse. Child abuse and neglect sadly happens every day, in every walk of life, all around the UK. At least two children in the average primary school classroom have experienced abuse or neglect. By the time they turn 18, that number rises to at least 4.
From the hub on Great Homer Street in Liverpool, NSPCC support children, young people and families through Childline and delivering free services whenever they are needed.
NSPCC have developed new services to help families, campaigned to change laws, shared information about abuse and how to recognise it, and developed new tools for children, parents, and professionals.
With your support, the LCL Bike ride will help the NSPCC reach more children and young people. It costs just £4 to answer a call to Childline, so by raising £400, you could pay for their volunteer Counsellors to answer an incredible 100 calls from children in their time of need.
We hope you will help us raise the bar even higher this year and thank you for your continuous support. Please donate what you can to the NSPCC and rally up your community to sponsor your challenge by sharing the link with your friends and family.
