Driven By Purpose
Celebrating 10 years with Claire House
We are immensely proud to celebrate an incredible 10 years partnership with Claire House Children’s Hospice
With your support, we have already raised a staggering £300,000 for the charity and we hope you will help us raise the bar even higher.
Please donate what you can to Claire House Children’s Hospice here and rally up your community to sponsor your challenge by sharing the link with your friends and family.
Located on the Wirral, the ten-bedded hospice provides respite, end-of-life and bereavement care for children and young adults with complex medical needs, up to the age of 23. They help seriously and terminally ill children live life to the full by creating wonderful experiences and bringing back a sense of normality to family life. By providing specialist nursing care and emotional support they help families smile again when life couldn’t get any tougher. They lovingly look after families from across Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales, West Lancashire, and the Isle of Man. For more information, please visit https://www.clairehouse.org.uk
“Claire House are so proud to be the charity partner of the Liverpool Chester Bike Ride. This unique and exciting event covers a large area of our region, where we care for families with children and young adults that will not live to adulthood. Without the incredible people who cycle for their local children’s hospice, this would just not be possible, and we hope that more people can don the saddle this year so that we can help more families than ever before.”
Championing my Community
Fittingly as an event partner of the Liverpool Chester Liverpool Bike Ride, GRAHAM continues to develop the Strand gateway – a project which includes a segregated cycle lane connecting the south of the city to the north.
The leading civil engineering company’s impact on the region can also be measured in the significant donations it has made to local charities and food banks, the work experience opportunities provided to young people and the unemployed, and the investment in the regional supply chain to support the local economy. We are proud to team up with GRAHAM to bring you the Virtual LCL Bike Ride.
When you have completed your ride, why not check out < The Guide Liverpool > for the best places to grab a bite to eat and celebrate.
“GRAHAM is proud to be an event partner of the iconic Liverpool Chester Liverpool Bike Ride. Although this year’s event is an entirely different format, the virtual version promises to be just as rewarding for participants, the local community and the very many charities who are raising much needed funds on the day.
It is a privilege for us to play a central role in the creation of cycle friendly infrastructure in the city to meet its growing popularity as a sustainable mode of transport and form of recreation. This experience means that we were keen to offer our support to the annual bike ride, which has become recognised as one of the annual sporting highlights for local bicycle enthusiasts.” Dave Brown, GRAHAM Highways Director.
