5 Mile Family Tunnel Ride

Families get ready to unite through some pedal power!

Join the super fun and engaging 5 mile family tunnel ride and experience the unique opportunity to cross under the famous Mersey river through Liverpool’s Queensway tunnel traffic-free.

The ride starts at Liverpool side of the Queensway Tunnel and allows you to cycle traffic-free right up to the toll booths in Birkenhead. You’ll then back through the tunnel to the finish festival village at Exchange Flags. The tunnel ride is one where the whole family can take part and is perfect for those who are not yet ready to venture out onto the open roads, as it allows riders to experience the atmosphere of the tunnel under the Mersey without the worry of cars driving past them.
